The extensive repairs to Middlewood Road, caused after the flood damage of 2007, were completed and the road reopened on Friday 12th December 2008. As was always the plan, the Supertram Link service has reverted back to it's original limited stop service.

The  17 month closure has been very challenging for the tramlink service. With additional running time due to the diversion, traffic control signals being placed at various locations along the route and the added cost of an extra bus and staff to enable us to maintain as close as possible a 10 minute frequency, times have been very challenging and we would like to thank all of our customers for your patience and understanding during this time.

We are now looking forward to providing the service that was planned back in July 2007 and are confident that with your continued support, the service will go from strength to strength.
