Tickets for children
Under 5
Up to four children under 5 years old can travel for free when travelling with another responsible passenger.
These children can’t:
- take a seat that paying passengers might need
- stay in a buggy in an unsuitable place on the bus
Additional children will be charged as if they were aged 5 or over.
See our conditions of carriage for more information about carrying small prams and buggies.
5 to 15 year olds
Single and return tickets
Children aged 5 to 15 years can usually travel for between half and two thirds the cost of most adult fares.
In Warwickshire, child return and day tickets are usually only available after 09:00 Monday to Friday and anytime at weekends.
Child dayrider tickets
Children under 16 can get a child dayrider ticket. It’ll give you 1 day’s unlimited travel in your chosen travel zone.
In Warwickshire, Coventry, Worcestershire and Staffordshire, child dayrider tickets are usually available after 09:00 Monday to Friday and anytime at weekends.
Group dayrider tickets are also available. Our group dayrider offers unlimited travel for two adults plus three children (or 3 adults) within your chosen zone.
You can share your child dayrider tickets with other children aged between 5 and 15 when you're not using them.
